Do I Have to Go....?

There was never any question about returning to work after I had Lincoln. Unfortunately, I had to. I went over our finances, searched for something I could do from home and thought about selling my husbands kidney on the black market....we all have an extra right? Nothing I found would allow me to stay home.  It. Was. Horrible. The weekend before I went back I would cry just thinking about having to leave him. I mean, who wouldn't be upset leaving this little guy? Look at that face!

We have been extremely blessed, however, to not have to use a traditional daycare. Instead, my sister-in-law, Amy, has volunteered to keep him. She lives a whole half block from us and only about 2 minutes from my work which is extremely conveinent. She even lets me come over at lunch to see him....even if I'm just staring at him sleep. I wait for my lunch break like 1st graders wait for recess.

He even gets bonding time with his cousin, Gatlin! I hear they like to hold hands and have been caught trading off trying to eat one another's fingers on occasion.
Lincoln's first craft! How brave is this woman to use red paint?! L.O.V.E. it!

I can't begin to express how thankful I am that Amy's been able to do this for us. If this blog was on paper, just know it would be a tad soggy. Thank you, Amos. We love you.
